Warranty Terms and Conditions

We offer a five-year warranty on all Spannfix vises. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase by the original end user. The date on the original proof of purchase is decisive. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage resulting from improper use, normal wear and tear, or external influences.

The warranty becomes void if unauthorized repairs or modifications are carried out, or if the product is fitted with non-original spare parts, accessories, or attachments that cause a defect. We provide a warranty for a period of five years under the following conditions for tools that demonstrably exhibit material or manufacturing defects within the warranty period.
For tools used in commercial or professional applications, or under comparable conditions, the warranty period is limited to twelve months. This warranty applies to tools purchased and used within the European Union, including Norway and Switzerland. To make a warranty claim, the original proof of purchase must be presented together with the product. The information on the receipt must match the product details. Registration is only possible if you consent to the storage of the required data. The invoice or receipt from the seller from whom the tool was purchased is decisive for registration within the specified period. Therefore, the original proof of purchase must be retained.
In the event of a warranty claim, please contact our customer support. If you choose to send the tool to us independently, you are responsible for shipping costs and the risk of transport. Depending on the situation, we will either repair the product or replace it with an equivalent model. Replaced parts become our property. No claims other than the right to remedy defects as specified in these warranty terms are established by this warranty. In particular, there is no entitlement to a replacement tool for the duration of the repair. The assignment of claims under this warranty is excluded. This warranty does not apply to used products.
Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period. German law applies to this warranty, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
